Cat and Furniture Day

The cat has landed. It actually was better than I thought it would be. She did freak out in the car, but I think that was because she does not like the car. Doug carried her in the elevator and into the house. For a while she would not leave the bathroom, now she is hiding in the closet in the bedroom. I got her to come out for a few minutes of petting a bit ago.

I am waiting on the boys to get back with the furniture. We are not supposed to use the freight elevator until 2pm today, so they may be here and sitting in the truck waiting to be able to bring up the stuff. There are some things still at the house that we can get later. I am exhausted! My back is killing me and I sure did not get enough sleep last night. I was tossing and turning all night. Ugh.

We ended up getting another DVR box for the bedroom, because with the other box apparently we would not get all the channels in there. I don’t care really. I am just happy that we are almost done and totally here. I am tired of living between houses. I am so over this moving thing too.

We are talking about seeing The American tonight with George Clooney. It looks good. Not sure if we will be able to see it tonight though. I have a lecture that I can not miss at 7pm. We will see. If not, we will see it Saturday maybe.

I almost have all the bathroom stuff put away. Would you believe 5 boxes?!?! I have thrown so much stuff away since I have been here. Old shampoo, old medication, that kind of stuff.

I think that is it for now. If we go tonight I will let you know how the movie is. Ciao!

  2. Hi Tawnya!! So glad the cat has landed!!! LOL I had a chuckle about that. Cats are such creatures of habit. They don't like change at all... I can only imagine what you must be going through and what that cat must be thinking. She probably does not want to go along with any of this --heh heh!! Aren't they wonderful pets though?! In a day or two she will be all settled in. Wow sounds like you are going to be so lucky to have TWO DVR's!!! I would just LOVE that!! We run out of space on ours constantly with several of us in this house trying to record things. I can never keep up with erasing things. And I find I erase a ton of stuff I didn't get time to watch even after recording it. Well, hope you enjoyed my long comment and happy moving and unpacking!! I have ugh filing to do today and junk mail to throw out.
