Indivisible- A Book Review

This book is the very first book I have ever read from author Kristen Heitzmann and I have to say that I loved it. When I began reading this book, it was kind of hard for me to get into it, but it was my fault and not the book. In this book, we meet Jonah Westfall, who is the current police chief in Redford, Colorado. Redford, like all small pretty towns has it share of gossips, secrets, and lies.

Jonah’s character is one that has been bruised and beaten. He is a recovering alcoholic and finds that his sobriety is being tested at every turn. When someone finds two raccoons sewed together, it begins a case of uncertainty for both Jonah and the town.

Tia Manning has secrets of her own and is tied to Jonah because of a past event that she can not let go of no matter how hard she tries and accomplishes. She has been backed into a corner and is trying to live with the fallout of the past and her choices.

All in all, a wonderful book and a well told story. I loved that you don’t really know what exactly is going on until the end of the book and it seems kind of incredible! It is very hard to write this review and not give spoilers to the story, but trust me this is one must read book in my mind.

I received this book for free from WalterBrook Multnomah for the purpose of this review
