The “Later” Entry

Okay, so I am feeling better a little bit. Now don’t get me wrong, I am feeling better from the bronchitis and asthma, I am just really tired this morning. I finished my antibiotics and steroids for my lungs this morning. So, that is a good thing.

Right now I am really working hard on school. I am really liking my class that I am taking and the ‘live’ seminars are actually a help to me. Science is not my thing but this class is interesting so far and I am liking it a lot.

Right now, I am glad that I have changed schools because although a lot of things are different, it is better for me right now. School is better so that is less stress for me, which is always a great thing.

I am still kind of tired and I hope that I am going to be able to go to sleep soon. Okay, I am out of here… Ciao!

Tired Friday

Well, Friday is here and I am breathing so  much better than I was at the beginning of this week, which I am thrilled about! It is nice to not have to live on Nyquil and cough drops for once. Yay!

I am so totally exhausted this morning though. I am going to need to sleep before my seminar tonight. Ugh, I need to go I am so tired.. Later.

Thankful Thursday

I missed the Thankful Thursday entry last week because it was my daughter’s 13th birthday, so we are back this week with it. So, here we go:

  1. I am always thankful for God. Without God, I would not exist.
  2. I am thankful for the money that was available for me to go to the doctor.
  3. I am thankful for the medicines that I now take to feel better from being sick.
  4. I am thankful for the people in my life who understand that sometimes I am a little crazy and don’t seem to mind.
  5. I am thankful that my kids love me and talk to me.
  6. I am thankful for school
  7. I am thankful that we have always had food in the house
  8. I am thankful that I am able to get around and I am not stuck in one place.
  9. I am thankful for my friends online and offline
  10. I am thankful for my life, even if I am not always happy with it.

So, what are you thankful for?

Wednesday’s Wishes

Last week I kind of flaked on Wednesday’s Wishes, in my own defense I did not mean to, but class started and I kind of got busy and then my daughter’s birthday was the next day. So, we are back with it this week. Here we go:

  1. I wish that sometimes I was more emotionally available. I mean I am not totally walled off, but I do sometimes have an issue with expressing what I am feeling at a particular time. Sometimes I can not admit that I am mad or upset and I just sit and seethe.
  2. I wish that my friends do not have to be hurt by or hurt because of stupid people.
  3. I wish that cancer did not exist.
  4. I wish that I did not have asthma, but since I do, I guess I wish that I would actually keep it under control.
  5. I wish that sometimes I would have been a better person when I was younger…

Okay, there are my five wishes for today, so what are yours?

Doctor’s Appointment and Stuff

I went to the doctor yesterday and it seems that along with asthma I also have bronchitis. My doctor gave me a breathing treatment and some inhalers. I have my Albuterol rescue inhaler and I am now on Symbicort to control my asthma. I am also on the Z pack and prednisone to help with the bronchitis. So, I am on the road to feeling better. I can say that I am breathing so much better. I went to be bed last night at like 8pm and slept until 4am with no problems which is great!! The only issue I am having is that the Symbicort inhaler, seems to be a bit gritty. I am sure I will get used to it.

It has been a difficult week because I have been so sick. But now that I am starting to feel better, I will be okay. I am glad I went to the doctor and got my meds, although the antibiotics are kicking my butt.

Tonight is dinner at Country Boy and I am looking forward to it. I can’t wait to see all our friends there. Today also ends the first week of class and I am liking this class so far. I am going to go… Ciao!

A Quick Trip

Some days I am just too tired to hunt for the other font, today is one of those days… I do have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow at 2pm and honestly as much as I hate doctors, I hate coughing this much even more!! As I mentioned un an earlier post somewhere, we took a quick trip yesterday and today.

We decided that we needed a quick get away. So we went to Saginaw for a night. It is nice to get away for a night sometimes. Although feeling the way that I do, it has not been fun as it would have been had I been totally well. But i am enjoying it as much as I can.

We are leaving in a little bit to go back home. It has been a nice trip and since I actually found out some really great information by accident. Last September we were planning a really great vacation/birthday cruise, but because I can not get a passport yet we were having issues because the cruise was an Alaskan one that goes into Canada, so I was not going to be able to go.So I thought! Here in Michigan we can get enhanced driver’s licenses, which allow us to cross into Canada and come back to the US without a passport.

I was reading on the website that it also works for sea travel, like a cruise! So, I can get one of those and go on my cruise too. You can use the enhanced driver’s license to  to anywhere in the Western Hemisphere by land or sea. Meaning as long as I can take a cruise or drive to these places I can go on my enhanced driver’s license. Now, the only drawback is that I can not fly anywhere with it, but hey, I will take what I can get!! So that was some great news, now I can maybe go on my Alaskan cruise I wanted to go on.

Last night we went to the Olive Garden, our favorite place here in Saginaw. We have never gotten bad service at the one here, which is why we love it so much. We went about 8pm last night because I needed a nap, had no wait at all. Which I love. As usual my eyes were way bigger than my stomach! So, I have leftovers for today. I might just eat them for dinner later after we get home. Although I do think that we might stop at Texas Roadhouse on the way home for a late lunch and you know I will have leftovers from there too! So, I will have kind of a buffet of stuff to munch on tonight.

When I see the doctor tomorrow, I need to get my asthma inhalers, because up until this winter my asthma has been fine. This year it just went haywire!! Ugh. Well, I think I am going to go. Ciao!!
